Terms and Conditions of Use of Puffin.Org1. General(a) This is a private computer network operated by Adrian P Wilkinson (hereafter "APW") and access to any computer, interface, daemon or device connected to the network whether physical or virtual is for authorised users only.(b) Access to any interface, daemon or device connected to APW's private network automatically binds you to these terms and conditions of access and to the general trading policy of APW. (c) Unauthorised access to this computer network is strictly prohibited and any attempt to access any computer, interface, daemon or device connected to this network may be viewed as intent to commit an offence under The Computer Misuse Act. (d) APW reserves the right to take either civil or criminal action against any person(s) or company attempting to gain unauthorised access to this computer network. (e) APW also reserves the right to take either civil or criminal action against any person(s) or company facilitating any attempt to gain unauthorised access to this computer network, regardless if said unauthorised access attempt was with or without their knowledge. (f) This computer network is based in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island and English and/or European law will apply to any civil or criminal actions. (g) These terms and conditions of use may be amended at any time without prior notice from APW. 2. Limited Grant of Access(a) APW may permit certain non-employees or clients to have limited access to any computer, interface, daemon or device strictly subject to these Terms and Conditions.(b) Any grant of access applies only to the particular computer, interface, daemon or device that access has been authorised for. (c) APW reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access rights to a previously authorised user at any time and without notice and for any reason. (d) APW may delete or restrict access to any material believed to be illegal or offensive at our soul discretion. 3. Security(a) Authorised users are responsible for ensuring that their data is regularly backed up, as APW will not perform this action on their behalf.(b) Authorised users are not permitted to run any program or service that would allow connections from any other computer, interface, daemon or device. (c) Authorised users are responsible for ensuring that their data is kept confidential from other users of the system. APW accepts no liability for loss, damage or theft of any data stored on their computer network. (d) APW reserves the right to inspect any data stored on any computer system in order to ensure the integrity of this computer network. (e) APW reserves the right to perform any action against any user without any prior notice in order to ensure the security and integrity of the computer network. |
